Rugs that live like laundry
and look like paintings
Every Rugcomf rug — all 172 of them in this catalog — folds into a household washing machine, comes out itself again, and grips the floor without a pad. The designs are the point: painted gardens, folk samplers, moonlit meadows. This is the whole line, arranged like a book.
Start with chapter I ↓The Collections
Seven shelves, one washing machine. Each collection is a design family cut into every size the line makes.
Pieces the House Voted For
The most-rated rug from each collection — the ones that survive real hallways and real toddlers.
The Size Atlas
Fourteen sizes from a doormat to a 9-by-12. If you know the room but not the number, the planner on the atlas page does the arithmetic.
Round
Circles for reading corners, vanities and round tables.
The Care Ritual
Four steps, no dry cleaner. This is the routine every rug in the catalog is built around.
Daily life: shake doormats at the door, run the vacuum with the pile on the big pieces. Low pile means nothing tangles.
Blot, don’t rub. A damp cloth handles most accidents before they become reasons for step three.
Fold loosely, gentle cycle, no bleach. Even the 10-foot runners fit a standard household drum.
Over a rail or two chairs. The TPR backing goes back down flat and grips the floor the same day.

About the Atelier
Rugcomf makes one kind of thing well: low-pile rugs that are genuinely machine-washable — not “spot clean only” with a hopeful label, but fold-it-into-the-drum washable. The face is a soft faux wool or velvet-touch weave, the middle keeps its shape through wash cycles, and the back is textured TPR rubber that holds the floor without a separate pad.
The designs are digitally printed, which is what makes the catalog read like a sketchbook: oversized painted bouquets, a folk-art garden with mirrored birds, a sampler of tabby cats and ducklings, blossom clusters drifting over dark meadows, medallions faded to whispers. The same families repeat across doormats, runners, rounds and room-sized pieces, so a hallway can agree with the bedroom it leads to.
